Matthew 5: 29-30

If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

i've always thought God was joking when he said these verses. but in true fact, he was emphasizing the seriousness of committing sins.

have you ever experienced those times when u did something and then u regretted it? best, u kept on doing it, and the guilt comes back and perhaps, goes away as fast as it comes?

chop off your arm , or gourge out your eye: your problem will be solved.
