went for dance class yday.
ohhhhhhhhh boooooooooooooooy. muscles are aching like crap. haha..
becos becks and i didn't go for the first lesson on tues, we were behind everybody in terms of learning the moves for the song. and guess what. we learned the whole song in just 1 day.
the dance is really cool.. haha.. although we are not very good with the moves yet. today is the last day before a performance on sat. haha.. so fast right. i also dunno whats going on
all i noe is that there's this really really pretty girl there.. her name is lydia. and she's freaking freaking pretty. she was from SAjc.. currently, in Laselle. and she's freaking pretty. and when i say freakking. i mean freaking.haha.. oh maaaannnn.... and oh boy, she can move man.
the whole dance thing was really weird at first. becos not only do we know nobody, we dun noe the dance at all. and the blardy instructor was freaking fast and the 2 of us were like freaking staring at each other. but we managed to get it la in the end.

missed me yah?? i noe. its ok. hahahaa..
lots of things happened in church camp. but firstly, there weren't any cute guys there. sians. ok la prob 1 or 2.. but i wan't interested. not intereste enough to go bug aunty stef to help me make frens. so there. but aunty stef was pointing out to me who were pastor's sons and even recommended the photographer to me. like OH PLEASE!! he's 29!! save him for becky. come on!! hahaha.. erm oops.
anyways, the most merorable thing that happened during this whole long stretch of holiday:
yep. our first destination was port dickson.

so upon arrival, we rested awhile by playing happy family with our room mates, the Ying family kids, namely jaclyn, 14, and carolyn, 9.
and when all the parents decided to go explore the region and look for durian stalls, a fruit everybody has been craving for since dunno when (except certain ppl), the teens n the 2 lil ones (corn, me, angeline, lina, jo n carolyn) changed into our swimming costume (**ARENA**); and got all ready to go for a swim.
jaclyn CHOSE not to bring her swimming costume, and joanne,erm.. u noe, wasn't sth that she can choose. anyway, afraid that father would call me, i entrusted my phone with jaclyn.
while we were in the pool, i noticed jaclyn being very left out sitting at the pool side. forgetting that she had my phone, i asked the teens f we should include jac into the pool.. by pulling her in.. but i decided not to, becos i was afraid if she would to cry, i would haf died.
however, 45 sec later, diane swam up to me and said.. "laureen.. my mummy want to pull jaclyn down too.."
a turn of the head, and u see aunty chris, in the pool, creeping up to where jaclyn was sitting.. and in a blink of an eye.. aunty chris got hold of her legs. joanne, got the hint, and got up and over to the back of jaclyn and gave her a final push.
a push that sealed the fate of my phone- forever.
the loud "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAahhhhh..." was followed by a "LAUREEN! I GOT UR PHONE!"
yep. thats it. it was gone.
but what made me feel even more guilty was not just my phone gone, but hers as well... although we managed to save our SIM cards, we lost our phones.
oh well, at least we still have our sim cards.

but that poor girl.. transferred all her contacts from her sim card to her phone, just before the camp. so.. yea.. she lost all of her contacts..

haha.. just read mentos' blog. she sure sounds as if she's having so much fun.

sunday was great. haha like realy great. kirby drove us (corn, kiat, dicky and me) to marina after church that day. everybody was so hyped up and all.. have i ever told anybody how great it is to haf a sister's boyfren who can drive? oh well.. its great. like REALLLY GREAT. haha. but hey kirby, i dun just like u becos u can drive ok. haha dun get the wrong idea.
anyways, before the match started and the BC ppl arrived, joyce led jane, jo e mo, joannie, corn and me into our very own Z-L-S-C-C cheer. yes. hilarious; embarassing and "super cute". haha.. eh. we have purple pom poms k. shiny some more.. dun play ah..
saw cherlyn (again! 3 times a week of 7 years), screaming away, and then we had everybody saying "u look very farmiliar.. who's daughter are u??" and then u haf ppl (esp corn) going "HUH.. but u were so small last time.." like whatever man corn. we all grow. -.-
so anyway, i managed to say hi to theodore without being scared. haha.. theodore is HUGE. so scary. and yes. i really was soooo scared. still is actually. THEODORE IS HUUUUUUUGE. oh and grace was in malaysia.. that woman.. urgh.
anyway, corn saw ppl she never liked in church. a particular girl who's name starts with V. corn and bex hate that whole gang to the core man. haha.. and she's not as pretty as i used to think she was. corn's prettier. a kazillion times man. (ok corn. stop smiling to urself)
so anyways, the match started n all... kirbs was good maaan. (hip lah) and so was my darling dicky. hahaha. bro was hip la.. but dunno how come kick the ball dunno go where. hahahaah but its ok, i still love him, and he's still the best becos he scored the only goal from our side! yay!! haha.. yea.. daryl was hip too. aiyah all hip la.
so.. the final score was 5-1. HAHAHAHA. 2 were own goals. hahaahahah.. so funny.BUT HEY. WE HAD SHINY POM POMS. THEY HAD NOTHING. and thats the bottom line. ahahahahaha.. joyce said üsually, if the cheerleading is great, the team usually dun play well. take the movie, BRING IT ON, for example..." we nearly died laughing.
anyway,FYI, everybody's favourite xiao ping ended up injuring somebody. lucky the injury is not serious.
act almost all of them had injuries. hmmm. hahahha..
went for dinner later on at changi village.. had $6 curry fish head. it was goooooood man. corn and i totally devoured it. hahahah.. yea. devoured.
went home feeling very smelly- from all the cheerleading. haha (experience came from our netball "MJC" formation. hahahaha) -and tired. =================================================
the next day, went for that medical check up at nus.
woke up feeling freaking bloated. prob becos of the curry i had the night before. so i tried to shit. but to no avail. felt very irritated. becos i know it'll cause me to be heavier.. (got weight taking later) but there was nothing i could do about it. urgh. have u ever had that feeling... pisses me off man
anyways, drank a cup of milk before leavinig the house. darn. i should haf drank my milk earlier. hahahahaah... i forgot milk helps me man. so anyway, halfway down the hill, stomach was soo painful. half of me was soo happy, 1/4 of me was in pain and the other quarter, was quite pissed (becos i din drink my milk earlier) so anyway, managed to tahan until mrt. hahahahaaha...
and as a result, was late in meeting jamie. hahaaha.. oops.
best part? fanny was there like REALLY early. but heyyY!! jamie and i reached at 9 sharp at clementi!! i was on tiMEEE!!! but felt really bad letting both of them wait for me..haha
the whole check up thing was just so funny. ahaahah.. esp the urine test part.

went to the airport to teach vonney maths. i lost touch with maths man. can't even solve partial fractions. teach wat shit. HAHAHA.. vonney.. think u really should go find another teacher. really.. i can't do it lE!! quick go find one.. beg hailing or sth..
after that.. met jo the mo at the airport (father sent her there) then the 2 of us went to city hall to wait for corn. we had about an hour to kill, and i was super sleepy, and jo was hungry, so we walked to delifrance.. treated jo a choc crossoint and i treated myself a cappucino. haha.. then we went to meet corn..
had soup sppon for dinner. it was heavenly. the garlicky foccacia was yum yum, and the cheesy wedges.. mm mmm.. and the soup was like so good la. ahhhh.. freak. hungry.
then corn and i went on our mission: buy our swimming costume.
haha.. in the end we ended up in arena, buying 1 each. becos it was having a discount. hahaha. $49.55. cheap for ARENA swimming costume. hahaha..
went to coffee club for muddy mud pie at raffles city, then the 3 of us hurried to the train station. to go home for despo housewives.
father and mother picked us from simei. haha.. and we were just on time for despo housewives. BUT.. so sick lor.. it was a recap thingy. whatever.
went to bathe after corn came out of toilet. always haf to bateh last. i also dunno why prob becos she's not washing her hair. whatever. always use this reason to bathe first.
so anyway, after bathing, went to take out our clothes from the cupboard to decide what to wear. haha.. and i came across this CHIJ shirt. wahhhh laaaaoooo...
made me so piss.. paid $23 for a super super huge shirt. that wooommmaaaannn cheat my money.. idiots. got soo pissed over the shirt yday. suppperr pissed.
anyway, shall bring it along for my pyjamas. hahahaaa
ok la.. dunno type how many hours le.. very hungry. hhahaha... sians maaann.. tuition tonight with krystel.. and then i can go back home, and the temporary end of laureen making money for the next 6 days.

diana has a pair of new specs and its freaking gucci... and she got the black one. and i see the green one and dammiT!! i'm in love with that green pairrrrrrrrrrrr.. urghh.. like literally in love with that green pair.. that it actually cross my mind too.... erm.. yea u noe.. but.. hey my purple specs cost $380!!! AHHHH.. and i paid it myself, so NO! i'll just stay faithful to my purple specs.

anyways, i wun be coming to work on monday. gg nus for checkup. for what i also dunno just sounds so dumb.
so work on tuesdayyy.. then not working on wed, thurs, fri, mon and tues. hahaahah yea church camp. i can't waaaaaaaaaaaaaait for it. i hope there are cute guys. haha like really. i'm not bluffing. hahaahaha.. oh and i hope there are NUS bizad ppl like me too. so i noe i'm not the only one not gg for the camp.
was reading the book jane gave me last year. haha.. one of the chapters was talking about "a heart that obeys" and interestingly enough, there was this sentence:
"if ur parents ask u to go for a church camp, go for it, even though sth great is happening in school then"
oh well, God speaking to me straight to my heart? i hope He is. and u ppl going, better let me enjoy myself there, because i'll be missing out on 2 camps. 2!! 2!! urgh. and u noe whats the best part. these 2 camps are the only camps that i want to go for!! how sickening can it get.

was reading the book jane gave me last year. haha.. one of the chapters was talking about "a heart that obeys" and interestingly enough, there was this sentence:
"if ur parents ask u to go for a church camp, go for it, even though sth great is happening in school then"
oh well, God speaking to me straight to my heart? i hope He is. and u ppl going, better let me enjoy myself there, because i'll be missing out on 2 camps. 2!! 2!! urgh. and u noe whats the best part. these 2 camps are the only camps that i want to go for!! how sickening can it get.

i met cherlyn for dinner yday!!!! she's very much the same!! just that she's more animated than me. (clara.. can u imagine someone more animated than me??) hahahaha..
haven't seen this childhood fren since pri 5? wow.. haha.. and we met on tues toO!! haha.. at aljunied mrt, before i went for work..
and we are gg to meet each other again this sun!! for that soccer match between zion and BC. oh gee.. i feel so exciteddddddddddddddddddddd!! i finally can meet up with all my childhood frens again!!
so we talked so much yday.. where this person went.. how they look now.. **hamster- looking** and how big they grew (as in, literally.) geeeeeeeee... and i get to see ALL of them this sunday!!
oh man!! never seen them since pri 5. hahaah.. and we are all gg uni now. sheesh. thats a freaking long time. still can remember who always wear what dress to sunday sch: for instance, grace loves to wear that blue floral dress.. and clarabelle with her pink plastic specs.. debbie and her shorts.. cherlyn and her 2 freaking long pleats, and laureen looking as toot as ever. theodore as dark as ever, charles the goofy looking one who likes to wear this dark blue shirt with umbrellas on them( and is some huge temasek idol now at TJ.. and there is a CHARLES fan club there. ) (he must be hot man.) hmm. then there's shane. hahaaaaaaa.. "2-3 times the size of his brother." quoted by my favourite fren who calls herself, tweety-lynn. hahahaha.. and last but not least.. there's sung anN!! apparently, he's in meridian. oh goodness. feel so dumb!! i always see him ard but i nv said hi to him because i din noe he was my church fren!! feel like sucha goondoo. oh well.. i'll say hi to him when i go back to meridian. i soooo will!!
we had so much fun reminiscing the past.. and just be amazed as to how time flies like nobody's business. and we are all having highlighted hair and we haf grown so much.
sigh. sunday sunday sunday!!!

phwoar. i finally remembered i haf this irritating ad to blog about.
haf u heard that radio ad tageted to young pregnant mothers.. and then u haf a certain (pretty) spokesperson saying "... we understand how u feel.."
i really have nothing against our nominated MP. nothing at all. really. (ok ok maybe she's pretty.)
it irks me when she says "we understand how u feel" to these young female teenagers in a moment of folly or whatever u call it, do sth that they shouldn't. and now living in guilt and not knowing what to do... the amt of regret and fear is so much- not that i've experienced it- do u really think u know how they feel unless u were in their shoes before?
and to me, the tone used was not quite what i think it should be if u want ppl to call u and confide their problems with u.
oh well.. its my view anyway.

ah.
watched hitchhiker's yday. its a good show actually, minnie. hahahaha.. and marvin is just soooo adorable!! goodness!! hahaha.. he's so depressed.. hahaha.. i love his stomach.
anyways, had a great time with daryl last night. (li, not aw.) haha.. (except for the part where i had to wait for him.. do u noe how irritating it is to wait outside the cinema.. and seeing ppl just streaming in.. and u can't go in because mr li has not arrived? and the point about missing all the advertisments was depressing enough!! )
so anyway. yea. mr li arrived. at least i was able to watch some advertisments on the big screen.
**hey bin n ling .. u jay chou die-hard fanss.. that movie he's starring in looks good to watch. please dun forget me when u are gg to watch it. (i think its because of edison chen and shawn yue. NOT JAY CHOU.)
so anyway.. walked from orchard to erm.. city hall. goh home at 12 exactly. haha..
so anyways, everybody, i dunno why minnie says hitchhiker is a bad movie.. becos i think the movie is really funny. ok i admit i dun understand a part of it, but hey on the whole, i understood. and HEY.MARVIN IS JUST SO ADORABLE!!!hmm.. u can actually look cute when u are a mentally depressed robot.

many many things on my mind (as usual) but due to time constrain.. and my inability to form coherent sentences, i shall not blog much. prob another day..

my last day of work is on 15th July.
part of me can't wait for that day to come, and the other part of me knows i wun get a regular income. i got to save my money. i shall not be tempted by giordano sales anymore!!

i had nasi lemak for lunch just now, and i'm super sleepy now!! its half hour before work ends *HOORAY* but i haf tuition tonight. 1.5 hours talking crap with krystel. hahahaha. hope i'll live thru it.
oh and guess what all u ppl out there who hasn't seen laureen's nails recently (YES. i have nails already) they are so so soooooo long.. i'm gg to cut them. yes. i'm not kidding. they are veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeryyy long. hahaahaha...
oh man i'm really falling asleep.
and i've been munching on my xiao man tous. and i can feel my stomach just expanding... an inch by an inch..
freak out. i haf to run. if only i can get rid of that recalcitrant feeling towards running..
